Anna Heflin Portfolio
As a composer and writer, I create deeply researched intermedia works and staged performance pieces that incorporate text, theatrical elements, and multimedia components. My large-scale pieces construct immersive, dream-like worlds, with non-linear narratives that thrive on musical and psychological fragmentation. My educational background is as a conservatory-trained violist, and this foundation of practical and rigorous musicianship coalesces with an experimental approach to text, video, and electronics in my compositions.
